The position is located in the quality and development department within the learning and education sector at Sundbyberg City Hall in Hallonbergen.
The role involves many points of contact within and between sectors in the city. It combines a strategic perspective with a good understanding of the operational conditions and missions. You are expected to work independently, take responsibility for your deliveries, and contribute with professional assessments that support governance and development.
Job Description
As a quality strategist within the quality and development department of the learning and education sector, you play a central role in the governance, monitoring, and development of preschools and schools. Your task is to collect, analyze, and compile results and quality data from the operations and translate these into analyses, conclusions, and decision-making materials for management and political committees.
You work closely with management, leaders, and operations, ensuring that monitoring and reporting provide relevant and reliable data for governance and prioritization. An important part of the role is to contribute to a cohesive and systematic quality work at the governance level.
Your responsibilities include:
- collecting and ensuring the quality of data from departments, preschools, and schools
- analyzing results, goal fulfillment, and development over time
- compiling quarterly and annual reports as well as other decision-making and monitoring materials
- formulating clear assessments and conclusions related to goals and missions
- contributing to the development of working methods, indicators, and monitoring processes
- providing support to managers and operations in matters related to analysis, monitoring, and quality work
The work is characterized by collaboration, clear deadlines, and high demands for quality in analysis and written presentation.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- has a pedagogical university degree related to one or more school forms
- has excellent written communication skills in Swedish, especially in professional administrative texts
- has strong analytical skills and experience working with goals, indicators, and results at the governance level
- has experience in analysis and monitoring work within preschools and/or schools
- has experience in systematic quality work at the governance level through quarterly and annual reporting
- has experience coordinating and ensuring the quality of quality data from multiple operations
- has experience presenting analyses to management or political levels
- is proficient in Excel or similar tools for analysis and monitoring
To succeed in this role, we see that you have strong analytical skills and work in a structured and meticulous manner. You can independently plan and drive your work forward while being able to prioritize and deliver high quality within given timeframes.
You have good judgment and are confident in making professional assessments. You can handle complex and sometimes incomplete data and translate these into clear analyses, conclusions, and decision-relevant texts. You are communicative and pedagogical in your working style and find it easy to collaborate with different functions and roles. You can explain analyses and results in an understandable way and contribute to dialogue with both managers and operations without losing sight of the governance perspective.
Furthermore, you are responsible, quality-conscious, and have integrity in your professional role. You thrive in an environment where work can be intense at times, and where structure, collaboration, and professional delivery are crucial.
